Refynds

About

A small house built around things worth keeping

Refynds began with a simple frustration: good things being thrown away because nobody explained how to look after them. We source, document and care for pieces — clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery and home — that deserve another few decades.

How we work

Four principles

The piece first

We read the thing itself before the label. Materials, weight, construction and condition decide whether a piece is worth keeping.

One piece at a time

Most of what we list is one-of-one. Sourcing is slow on purpose, and nothing is bought in bulk.

Honest description

Wear, repairs and quirks are photographed and written down. Everything should be bought with open eyes.

Care included

Every piece leaves with the notes it needs, because keeping something well is half of owning it.
